I really liked Coos Bay, and could totally live in this area.
Yesterday morning at about 6 am Toby and I went on a 3 hour hike around town and really enjoyed this really neat little town. It reminds me of what small California Central Coast towns were like before the California of my youth disappeared forever. Toby liked it. As I posted yesterday, he met the biggest dog he has ever seen, so yesterday was a pretty significant day and he crashed HARD last night.
I liked this place a lot, and her family’s friends with the oversized pup have a gorgeous place outside of town in the woods. We could afford a place with a shop for my cars here. People have been nice, and the roads are lovely. As you can see from the above, they have excellent cars parked on the street.
This boi is enjoying himself to the point of exhaustion.

Click bait was worth it because of a good boi.
(Though that 69 is real fine as well)

If you head a bit east, the Umpqua NF is a stunning place.

Saw the grill, thought for a moment it might be Yet Another Fucking Z28 Clone, but then saw it was legitimately a smallblock RS in good original shape. Cool cool.
This showed up in my recommends recently:

It’s beautiful there. Just sort of made me think - I’ve been lucky enough to go to soooooo many places for work, and there’s still so much left to see.
Unrelated and a totally different lifestyle, but I fell in love with Montreal last week. I’m not usually a city person, but a city I can navigate almost wholly on foot is hugely appealing to me. Too bad I’m of no use to Canada.

My dog loves to travel and get all the new smells. He just crashes when we get home and will sleep for two days in a row.

You’re right, that Volvo convertible was worth clicking through. And it would be great for cruising the area. My vacation is coming next month, and I can’t wait.

Not every post can have an ‘84 Caravan in red. It’s the logistics of the thing.

Beyond horrendous! We didn’t have too much trouble anywhere but Longueuil though. It was tough ordering fast food that doesn’t have a combo number and there are a bunch of questions related to paying at the grocery store that I never understood. Maybe about loyalty cards?

A little Duolingo and/or Babbel should get you in a happy place. Too bad your company doesn't have an office there amirite!

I was just expecting something more “unique”.
Common “classics” just don’t do anything for me.

I wouldn't mind if hideaway headlights made a comeback.

Are using HDR or HDR+ on your phone when taking pictures of Toby?
And Toby is the best dog ever. I can never get enough of him.
